2026 Notice of Funding Availability (NOFA)

King County Regional Homelessness Authority (KCRHA) is pleased to announce a Notice of Funding Availability (NOFA) for anticipated funding opportunities in 2026. Please note that these are anticipated opportunities and the schedule and scope are subject to change. Once finalized, KCRHA will issue detailed notices of funding availability for each investment as the release dates approach.   

KCRHA seeks to collaborate with a diversity of service providers across Seattle/King County in accordance with KCRHA’s Theory of Change, in order to extend the Seattle/King County continuum of comprehensive, person-centered solutions to homelessness.

Encampment Resolution Permanent Supportive Housing Underspend Request for Proposals (RFP) 
 
The intent of the RFP is to utilize unspent funds that expire on June 30, 2026. This funding opportunity is open to proposals from agencies currently contracted to provide ERP PSH services. 
Released: March 26, 2026 
Close: April 13, 2026 
Funding Available: $235,000

Severe Weather Request For Qualifications  
 
The purpose of the Severe Weather Request for Qualifications will be to identify organizations in King County that have an interest in supplying emergency shelter and/or supplies in response to severe weather and emergency conditions (cold, heat, smoke and other hazards and emergencies) for individuals and/or families experiencing unsheltered homelessness. 

This process is unfunded but is required to apply for future Severe Weather and Hazards funding.

Runaway and Youth Homelessness Programs RFP 
 
The purpose of this RFP will be to support programs for runaway and homeless youth by addressing rising operating costs, the decrease in private support since COVID, and state budget cuts and changes in federal funding qualifications that have led to funding reductions.

King County-City of Seattle Continuum of Care (CoC) System Collaborations and Partnerships Request for Information (RFI) 
 
The purpose of this RFI is to obtain information on collaboration and partnerships between homelessness services organizations and other system partners in anticipation of the 2026 Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) CoC Notice of Funding Opportunity.

FY26 Continuum of Care (CoC) Notice of Funding Opportunity (NOFO) 
 
The intent of this RFP will be to receive proposals from providers interested in renewing or seeking new federal CoC funds for projects including Permanent Supportive Housing (PSH), Rapid Re-Housing (RRH), Transitional Housing (TH), and Supportive Services Only (SSO).  Final funding decisions are determined by HUD.

Rapid Re-Housing Reprocurement RFP 
 
The intent of this RFP will be to reprocure Rapid Re-Housing funds in order to right-size contracts and identify organizations to provide Rapid Re-Housing for individuals in King County experiencing unsheltered homelessness.
