Notice of Funding Availability (NOFAs)
A Notice of Funding Availability (NOFA) announces upcoming funding opportunities and is used to inform applicants of anticipated funding for homelessness services.
Request for Proposals (RFPs), Request for Information (RFIs) Request for Quotations (RFQs) and Request for Qualifications (RFQs or RFQuals)
- A Request for Proposal is a competitive process for agencies to apply for funding to manage a specific project using funding provided through KCRHA that has not been previously allocated by our funders. Upcoming Requests for Proposals will first be listed in the Notice of Funding Availability section of this website.
- A Request for Information is a formal information gathering process that provides a structured process to ask for input on program design and organizational needs.
- A Request for Quotations is a solicitation in which KCRHA invites applicants to submit price quotes and bid on a specific project or job.
- A Request for Qualifications is typically used as a step to establish a pool of agencies that are qualified for a specific service for which KCRHA expects to be needed. When the need arises, KCRHA is then able to select from the pool of candidates for the service. Usually, a follow-up procurement process, such as a Request for Proposals (RFP), will be needed after the Request for Qualifications.
