Yvonne-Monique Aviva is the Executive Director of The Mockingbird Society. She leads the organization in creating, supporting, and advocating for racially equitable, healthy environments that support young people who are at risk of or experiencing foster care or homelessness, centering their voices in all aspects of the work. She blends her expertise in organizational change with a fierce commitment to racial equity and inclusion. Known for her ability to drive complex initiatives, she ensures that young people are meaningfully involved in shaping the services and systems that truly reflect the needs of the community.

Ellyse Bracken
Lived Experience Member, City of Seattle Appointee
Ellyse Bracken is the Executive Director of BRIDGES, PNW Alternative Peer Groups, where she works to support youth in early recovery and provide them with the tools to change the trajectory of their lives. Prior to this role, she managed contracts and grant-funded programs at Uplift Northwest (formerly the Millionair Club Charity), helping individuals experiencing homelessness connect with employment opportunities.

Kent Hay
Lived Experience Member, Sound Cities Association Appointee
Kent Hay is the Human Services Director for the City of Renton. He was previously the Human Services Director at the City of Auburn and oversaw the Department of Anti-Homelessness and has worked within the social services and criminal justice field for over 25 years. He believes that everyone should have access to true (within their price range) affordable housing and that everyone experiencing homelessness in South King County should have access to sheltering within their city.
