A Request for Proposals is a request for competitive bids to manage a specific project using funding provided through the RHA. Upcoming requests for proposals will first be listed in the Notice of Funding Availability section of this website.
A Request for Information (RFI) is a formal information gathering process that provides a structured way to ask for input on program design and organizational needs.
KCRHA is indefinitely pausing the local requests for proposals and application submission processes related to the FY2025 Notice of Funding Opportunity (NOFO). On Monday December 8, 2025, the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) withdrew the NOFO for Continuums of Care (CoC). At this time, HUD has not indicated when the revised NOFO will be made available.
KCRHA anticipates that many of the conditions and requirements initially proposed by HUD could be carried over into a reissued NOFO and strongly encourages agencies to continue their planning in anticipation of either needing to submit a transition grant or having the opportunity to receive a new award from HUD.
