HUD NOFO 2026 Documents - CANCELED

Note: The title of this dropdown was changed on August 10, 2026 to reflect the cancellation of this NOFO, and to be added to our HUD NOFO archives for the purposes of documentation.

On August 7, 2026 a federal judge issued a ruling setting aside the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development’s (HUD) FY 2026 Continuum of Care (CoC) Notice of Funding Opportunity (NOFO) in its entirety. As a result, the FY 2026 CoC competition cannot proceed under the current NOFO.

For applicants to the local Seattle/King County CoC competition, the competition is paused until further information is released. At this time, KCRHA does not anticipate that bonus funding for new projects will be available or that applications for new or reallocated projects will be sought. KCRHA will send out subsequent communication if the competition is reinstated, or continued, or if funding becomes available. We will continue to update the Funding Opportunities page with any new information.

KCRHA is reviewing the ruling and awaiting additional guidance from HUD regarding next steps. We will share updates with the Seattle/King County Continuum of Care as additional information becomes available.
